TRX
TRX stands for "Total-Body Resistance eXercise" and is one of the world's leading brands in fitness equipment. TRX was developed by Randy Hetrick, who, during his time with the Navy SEALs, sought a training system that could be used when deployed on missions. The system was subsequently developed into the world-renowned TRX Suspension Trainer. Today, the company develops everything from TRX Suspension Trainers to functional equipment, courses, training programs, and complete solutions for outdoor and indoor training – using only the highest quality.
What is TRX Suspension Training?
TRX Suspension Training is a training method where you use a TRX Suspension Trainer to perform exercises within strength training, cardio training, stability training, balance training, and mobility training. A TRX Suspension Trainer is a set of straps mounted in e.g. the ceiling, and by using simple techniques, you get an effective full-body workout.
The unique aspect of the TRX Suspension Trainer is that it only has one anchor point. Regardless of the exercise you are doing, you will be challenged on your stability and will never be able to train harder than your weakest joint allows. It involves training using your own body weight and movements, thus offering access to many levels and goals with TRX Suspension Training. You can easily adjust the intensity of the exercises by changing your distance from the anchor point. This quickly modifies the load in your exercises. You can also easily adapt your training to your daily level and goals.
The TRX Suspension Trainer is suitable for both indoor and outdoor training, meaning you can take your TRX outside and quickly set it up on a tree, a swing set, or even a lamppost.
